Horizontal Casting Machine
Bigger cross-section of copper/copper alloy product produced in the shape of rectangular strips and lager diameter billets/rods are convenient in the horizontal casting configuration it Employs a dedicated electric channel type furnace for melting and a compatible holding furnace for alloys addiction, chemistry adjustment and temperature homogenization so as to produce a sound casting with Excellent metallurgical properties.
Thus, produced strip/billets are withdrawn with the help of precisely controlled servo system arrangement and hydraulic/ pneumatic systems. Thereafter larger coils or straight length of the cast products are accumulated at the up-coiler system facilitating easy removal & further processing.
